Django Unchained; Waltz's scene chewing is a treat to watch but film is over long and not as fun to watch as Tarantino's other work; B+
Skyfall; Small scale Bond film plays intimately with the cast and 007's history. Great acting and drama but action is scaled back too; B+
The Watch; Genre mash-up makes alien invasion funny. If you like the stars the film delivers. Otherwise, not much new territory here; B
This is 40; Typical Apatow, funny, profane, yet anti-climatic. Leads are hilarious and realistic but the (director's) kids are annoying; B
The Cabin in the Woods; Reality TV era update to the horror genre is a clever gift to fans. I wouldn't mind watching this each week. B+
