Elio; Seemingly less ambitious than Pixar’s previous films, while still striving to push animation into realms only existing in our imagination. Story is sweet and possibly tear inducing, with an affirming message but lacks the start to finish quality that classic Pixar films had in its prime; B+

An Extremely Goofy Movie; Feels like Rodney Dangerfield’s Back to School with more heart and animated angst borne out of father/son anxiety and weirdness. It’s crazy how straight to DVD era Disney gave us this lower quality tier silliness compared to the ambitious feature films of the 2010s; C

Christopher Robin; A dour, yet sweet film marketed for children is anything but. Sadly depressing in its exploration of the death of childhood innocence for adult responsibilities, the lens of the mental disorder tropes of Pooh characters creates a hauntingly resonating film; B
