Shazam! Fury of the Gods; Extremely likeable actors doing their best to make the most of a silly F/X stuffed super hero Greek mythology mash up. Innocent fun that outright tells motivations, more than it actually develops them. Some blatant product placement is shameless; C+

Shazam!; Heavy emotional context made light by silly superhero antics is an odd tonal balance. Actors make the best of it, while the film has an 80s aesthetic about it. Fun but choppy, as though the tone made edits difficult to piece together. Still, overall entertaining; B
