TRON: Ares; Maintains cool aesthetic lighting and killer soundtrack that makes the franchise appealing in the first place. New plot angles are interesting enough to fill a full two hours and Lee is a great leading actor to root for. Unfortunate casting of Leto detracts but it’s still watchable; B-

The Contender
The Contender; Actors aplenty excelling at what they do in a political game that tackles enduring issues of optics and impressions and the double standards across party and gender lines. Bridges, Allen and Oldman are perfect in their roles and the script and supporting cast deliver on top of it; B+

The Big Lebowski; Cult films always seem to mean more to devout followers than the average film viewer. Coens’ insane cadre of characters make for a fun diversion but it’s not nearly as hilarious or profound as many proclaim. Some great laughs and inexplicable performances; B
