The Naked Gun

The Naked Gun; Does a great job mirroring the tone & gags of the OG series, but doesn’t quite feel as laugh per minute as the originals. Neeson & Anderson work well as leads, playing it straight amongst insanity. Some crazy stretches pay off for big laughs. Nice to have this comedy style revived; B

Inside Out 2; Presents a deeper story on account of its more fully realized and previously established roots, similar to the way Frozen 2 expanded into darker, more mature themes. Voice cast continues to blend beautifully while the depiction of abstract intangibles provides a gamut of emotions; A

Cruella

Cruella; Establishes a tone with its killer soundtrack, and a parade of fashion that’s unmatched. Most of the cast is excellent in their respective roles and the scenes are beautifully shot and designed. It seems like the Emmas are enjoying themselves more than the audience; B+
